My fascination with clouds has been life-long. When I first joined the world of digital photography, the lens just pointed itself up to the sky. It began on a trip to Rome. While my friends were busy snapping away at the historical landscape, I was fascinated by the constantly changing spring sky. Returning to Miami, the obsession grew. Driving anywhere, walking, whatever, I photographed the ever changing atmospheric landscape. Miami skies are dynamic, colorful and always changing, especially during summer. I began making panoramic images of the skies and fixing them in Adobe Photoshop. Then I started adding more surrounding images to the captures. Eventually they grew to 25-30 image mosaics made from very disparate images and skies. In a way, I get to play God with my own skies.
